Color: Golden yellow Clear. Nose: Tonight, a very expressive nose! aromas of white flowers and honeysuckle. Citrus & Zinnias too. On the palate: Nice creamy texture (full malo?), medium to full bodied, lemon, apple and honey. The midpalate has nice tropical fruit notes..The finish brings medium acidity and some crispness, along with some very obvious tart granny smith apple. Just keeps getting better with bottle age. One note is that tonight it seemed to throw a little more back end heat, but maybe that's because it's a little warmer.

See notes below for most of it, but tonight the wine has improved in bottle. The aciditiy has come into blance and the heat is integrated. There was more tropical fruit in this bottle. Bumped the score a couple of points as a result. Hey, improvement is good!

This is a Chard for red wine lovers. It is not overly oaky, has good balance, and is crisp. I bought these to give away as gifts, but ended up keeping all 6 bottles b/c my husband and I liked it so much. It is a terrific white wine to keep on hand for guests, and terrific for the price.

Quite acidic and sharp when cool, but mellowed out a good bit as it warmed to room temp. Pleasant, easy to drink. Nothing fancy or worth getting excited about, but nothing to complain about either. Good QPR!

Tasting notes identical to what I wrote previously. I think 84 is a fair score. The wine doesn't suck, it's just far from outstanding. Perfectly acceptable with a simple dinner this Monday evening, and better than most bars pour. (got 6 of these)

The nose is all oaky. I feared a big, chewy wine. I was surprised. The flavors were light and crisp, almost steel like. I enjoyed this a lot, and 6 for $40 was a steal!

On the palate: Nice creamy texture (seems like full malolactic fermentation to me), medium to full bodied, lemon and apple and honey. The midpalate is a little hot, has some tropical notes, but is pretty short. The heat is present on the finish which brings medium acidity and some crispness, along with some very obvious tart granny smith apple. Got this in a 6-pack on woot for a great QPR.

Overall quite good. Walked the line between frutiness and oakness. Didn't change very much with additional air.

Lots of crystalization. Flavors are quite nice for a cheaper wine. Smells oaky, taste is not overbearingly oaky.

I rated this a 78-80 originally, I think. But after it was open a day, I'll give it an 84.

Kinda of a bitter taste. Not what I was expecting. It reminded me of chewing on a green branch.
But when eaten with food it completely transforms... Much much better! I am changing my rating

Nice everyday drinker. I practically stole this for $7.50 and its solid for that price. Neither a butter-bomb nor an oak-monster. Decent balance.

Sampled at Papa Joe's. $0.34 per ounce. Very light straw colour. Fruity nose and no oak. Average flavour. Low good (80.5).
