  • PnP. Beautiful berry nose. Palate starts with an impression of rounded fullness, then tannins and acids come in to provide a full balanced picture. Structural elements are there to allow for cellar time but not necessary to access the pleasure of this wine.

  • Very nice young Langhe Nebbiolo. True, tasty. More berry flavor than a lot of young Langhe that I've had, but the structure is still there. I think this will age, if I do not drink it all soon.

  • Very Piemontese nose. The medium palate is complex and captivating, red cherries, wild strawberries, blood orange and a lovely floral lift. Fermentation and maceration in steel tanks, this does not see wood. Gum drying fruit tannins which accentuates juiciness of the fruit. Fresh acidity and medium finish. This is excellent and drinks beautifully now. The self anointed hip inner circle have already found Elio Sandri, Casina Fontana and Lalu so they are sold out in many places. Is this the next in line? Maybe, so one might consider sourcing wines of this producer while it is still possible.

  • Friday evening in diessenhofen. Medium purple color. Pairing it with steak, parmesan and rucola. Red cherries, vanilla, smoke, black pepper on the nose. Med acidity, med body, med alcohol, med flavor intensity, dry tannins, med finish. Beautiful cherries, super clean fruit, smoke, green capsicum, cream, espresso and chocolate. This is already rather magnificent. Rather excellent 👌

  • The Pressendas 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo is always a captivating experience; present on the nose and palate, youthfully fresh, very 2021, with drive, structure and yet a distinct seductive touch. Lithe, pure and based on aromatical intensity with fresh berries, pomegranate and a mélange of colorful flowers and blossoms. This is beautifully done and speaks a lot of what the Pressendas pursuit in all their wines.

  • High toned sweet cherry nose, just a bit of an herbal note. Mid weight palate with more cherry and nicely fruited mid palate. Lots of tannin but well balanced. Long tart finish, just a little bitterness in the tannin, calmed though with food. A pretty Nebb with more structure than I might expect. Not especially deep though, is there enough here to tantalize as the tannins soften with age? Probably 5+ years and this would be better. Pretty good, and certainly a lot of wine for the price ($30).
