Ukomplisert hverdagschampagne i en lys og elegant stil. Veldig vellaget med flott kons og lengde for nivået. Prisen gjør dette til en skikkelig no-brainer for min del.

Brian + Sylvia, Pre-Wedding Dinner (Lot 80, Margaret River): I had quite forgotten having had this before. Again, this was a lovely polished showing. The nose showed little notes of cream, a whiff of apple flesh and a nice yeasty afternote. The palate was really fresh and lively - with a fine effervescent mousse and laser-like acidity lending the wine a lovely definition and tension that went very well with its otherwise soft, white-fruited character. The finish was decent too, with just a lovely line of mineral and spice trailing away on the back-palate. Still young, fairly simple, but this was a really nice NV with the bones to age beautifully.

Pure mineral, somewhat steely. Mature citrus fruits and brioche, MLF. More gentle and creamy
Less bubbly, because of using less atmospheres pressure. 6g/l dossage - on a sweet side for my Brut Nature calibrated palate. On a feminine side in style. Very easy, but with charm.
Historical Cuvée. 2013 year base. 40% of reserve wines.

The third bubble of our Champagne Cantonese Seafood Spectacular and Wine of the Night (WOTN). Served in big bowl Chardonnay glasses to allow the nose to flourish. Pale gold eye with a touch of green. Luvly bubbles. Nose of both flowers and a blend of citrus fruit. Great toasted almonds with dramatic freshness. Lemon, lime and everything fine on the palate and a finish that never finishes. Excellent and very good QPR.

Dinner at Saveur Art (Saveur Art, Ion Orchard, Singapore): Disgorged in Sep 2012. Simple, but very pleasant Champagne. It had a very clean, delineated nose, with white fruited apple scents lined with mineral and lime zest. The mid-weight palate had a very easy-drinking feel to it, with a fine mousse and clean, precise white fruit flavours showing a nice freshness and purity, and then a little shade of minerality in a nicely long finish. Everything was impeccably balanced. This was very easy, simple, but really pleasant, A nice entry level Champagne from Pierre Péters.

France 2013 - Champagne; 4/14/2013-4/15/2013 (Reims): Tasted at Pierre Peters. 60% vintage, 40% reserve, similar blend as cuvee reserve. Young nose with bright citrus and fresh dough. Crisp on the palate with tart citrus and nice minerality and decent length. Oldest vintage in this 1988 and youngest is 2009. Drinks well now. Very good.

Very festive from Magnum. Cool, bright, tart and acidic with flavorful fruit poking through. Darank this before and during a meal and it was very nice with food. Would make this my "house" champagne.

Nose has green apples and pears, with an overtone of toasted hazelnuts, and a hint of smoke. The green apple is a bit too dominating for me. The palate is fresh, tense, bright, full of energy. Green apples here too, but overall is a pleasure. On the second day I liked it more and found the green apple note better integrated. For now: **

Champagne Producer Tour, 2011 (Champagne, France): Tasted with Rodolphe The only Peirre Peters wine that is not entirely grand cru, this is 50% from a vineyard in Sezanne. The nose had lime peel and light yeast, almost appearing sweet in nature. The palate offered sweet lemon peel, very fine, light bubbles (only 4.5 pressure compared to regular chamapgne of 6). This was very dry but still creamy. Very fun.

Pale gold, with light mousse as you might expect. Very dry, mineral aroma. Shy (is this the low pressure leading to less carry of aromas?). Dry and pebbly palate. Seems short and lacking flavour at this point. Don't get it at this point. Leave for another year at least to see if it develops.

A: Straw with a hint of green N: Vanilla, brioche, hazelnut P: Beautiful ripe russets and conference pear. Toasted hazelnut and vanilla well integrated. Wee bit of gunflint?!? 12 % alcohol.
C: Love this warm, slightly woody palate. Mesnil sur Oger seems to yield a slightly warmer sometimes a touch tropical aroma and a bit of flint we don't typically have in our other cote de blanc notes- WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHANGE OUR MINDS ABOUT THAT AS WE INCREASE OUR TASTING PORTFOLIO IN THE FUTURE. This tasted better than the Taittinger Prelude and gives good QPR at $45

Straight forward yet very enjoyable BdB. Clean and pure, good balance - a bit short. The clean great apple like fruit and nose is attractive.

Nice bubbly but not up to the quality of blanc de blanc cuvee resrve which had much greater minerality and less dosage.

Light yellow colour, nose of cream and toast. Taste rather acidic but well balanced including notes of liquorice. A fair aperitif for a light meal.
