Garnet in color with slight bricking edges. Nose of cherries, tobacco and hint of earth. Taste of cherries, red fruits, leather and earth. Balanced, but light on fruit. Drink now and over the next three years.

Best, and last, bottle. Very well balanced and delicious. Cherries, raspberries, plums, chocolate, leather, and herbs over the course of dinner and subsequent sipping of the rest of the bottle. A BdM QPR at the $31 price upon release.

Much better than the previous bottle. Not an eye-popping BdM, but very nice fruit and tertiary characteristics. I don't see this improving further, but can't do much better for a BdM at the just-over $30 that I paid--QPR. So many of these 2010 BdM are slow to round into shape.

Wow. A lovely shade of crimson with pink meniscus. Bright bing cherry, red fruits and leather on the nose and palate. Quintessential brunello flavors on the palate. Great acidity that went nicely with a béchamel and mushroom sauce on the tagliatelle. Long, sweet and satisfying on the finish, with just a touch of that raisin/tannic pucker that transports you to Tuscany. Great QPR and drinking well at the moment.

I found this to be excellent, showing the verve and lift of the acidity that comes with the vintage, alongside a lovely dark fruit profile with a hint of creme - just beautiful stuff, drinking very well at this stage of development. Wish I had more.

Disappointing. Flabby and without vitality. On the nose, this wine exhibits a passive display of three day old fruit left on the counter. A tinge of tobacco leaf. And a bit of charcoal, possibly splashed with lighter fluid. On the palate, it is dull and without expression. Very modest tannins attempt to coax palate to future promise, but a promise undoubtedly to be unfulfilled. A little remaining fruit, but fleeting at best. Perhaps I waited too long...?

First of 3 bottles in cellar, decanted 1½ hours so far. Maybe a slight bit of bricking around the edge. Still aromatically challenged, plus the flavors of dried red fruits, vanilla, and leather are rather muted. Very light mouthfeel, but good blend of tannins and crisp acidity. Short finish. Just not enough punch for a BdM, although nice enough to drink and not unpleasant in any way. Maybe this will flesh out a little more after another hour or so.
Darker fruit flavors at the 3 hour mark, but otherwise not much has changed. I know that I really liked the 2004 vintage of this wine, but the 2010 leaves me wanting.

Smooth and pretty rich for a Brunello. Integrated tannins but not as much acid as you'd expect. Dark fruit and some iron on the palette. It's not bad, it's just somewhat one-note and never seemed to truly flash any depth or great secondary notes. I was a little underwhelmed.

No space to store so fired up. Obviously needs another 3 years at the very least. Feel like enough going on with the fruit in the middle that will be pretty good at that point.

Drank over two days. The wine reminds me of a gaja barbaresco with a very suave polish on the nose and finish but not necessarily showing the varietal characteristics. Nose had some medicinal notes along with dark chocolate. New world in style but not overly oaked and nice to drink.

Drink now. Hour decant. Not aging very well surprisingly.

Have to agree with ERIKSEN VEJLE - this is past prime. This was my last bottle - we poured it down the sink.

Improved from last year. Darker brunello, smooth on tougue. Nice out of the bottle, better after a few hours. In a good place.
