As some one else said. “It is what it is”. If you buy this bottle of gamay beaujolais nouveau. Know that it is a light red with nice red fruits. Easy drinking minimal complexity but very tasty!

These were in a bit late this year. Normally we would have this around thanksgiving.
Nose of banana, bubblegum, dark cherries, and dark blueberries. Medium bodied, more structured than expected, not that sweet, decent acidity, and well a Nouveau. Palate more or less matches the nose with the addition of dark minerals. Dusty tannins bring a lot of structure. Long dusty tannic finish - granite, graphite, tart acidic cherries, tropical flowers, and a bit of cantaloupe.
It's been a streak of good Georges Dubceuf Nouveaus vintages. Never going to be a totally serious wine, but these have had a lot of positives to them. Just hope next year they are in on time.

Medium purple in color; cherry and strawberry jolly ranchers on the nose; medium acidity; medium tannins; tastes fruity. I can't really describe the flavors, but I love tasting something so different from other things I've tasted. Nellie doesn't like it. Jason H. doesn't like it. I like it. Jason D. says it's ok. I like it.

Pnp. Deep ruby-crimson in colour. Nose of sweet red fruits and berries and I did notice a whiff of fresh banana peel. Sour red cherries with some berry bubblegum and bananas are noted on the palate. Medium bodied with a short finish. I'll be looking forward to this every year.

Decanted 30 minutes and enjoyed with with lasagna. The color was bright red and it had a very strong noise of cartelized banana (I smelt crème brûlée) and my wife caught cherry, raspberry and maybe candy apple. It was light bodied and surprisingly dry on the palette with just a hint of tannins. No sulfites detected and the noise stayed strong even an hour later. It was delicious.

This just went to market earlier today, and I'm excited to try it. Another great vintage for Georges Duboeuf's Beaujolais Nouveau! On the nose: cherry candy, raspberries, mild unripe bananas. Palate mirrors. Fruit forward, well-balanced, and very gluggable! Decent finish. Fresh and fun, but slightly less weight and density compared to the 2022. Still, this remains one of Georges Duboeuf's better vintages for Nouveau - a wine I've enjoyed annually for decades.

It's the third Thursday in November- time to crack the Nouveau Beaujolais which went on sale at 12:01 am. It's an interesting story in marketing and winemaking, look it up. The premise is to get a wine to market quickly that is juicy and fruity without much structure, aging capacity or complexity. It's supposed to be a fun wine. This one will hopefully replicate last year's success. Pale to medium purple colored with low viscosity (13% ABV). The nose of this Gamay shows off textbook aromas of grape, bubblegum, cherry, lilac, purple licorice, sweet black plum, açaí berry and banana. This profile is due to the carbonic maceration technique used to rapidly vint this wine. The palate is dry with medium acidity and low tannins. Light-bodied, this beauty gives me grape bubblegum, cherry, banana, açaí berry and black plum along with a trace of wood shavings. The finish is zesty with the acidity lingering longer than the short-medium term of the fruit. It's worth every cent of its $15 price and get 89 points from me, respectable for what it is. Run out and get a bottle, drinking window is till the end of the month. 5 Stars!

Best Nouveau I've had in years. Dark, opaque color, nice forward fruit and just a bit of structure. Very nice.

Smells of unripe banana, candied apple and red fruits. Tastes quite acidic with Cherry and banana on the palate. Also surprisingly structured as well.
