Very good, but disappointing. I enjoyed the restrained complexity (a difficult balance to achieve), but as a whole I did not think the wine worked. It started well with delicate aromas (lemon, honey, and some fruit - peach?), and continued with similar tastes in the mouth, but then there was a void, as if the wine wasn't sure where it was going, and I was left with a thick viscous, undecided finish.

Deep golden yellow in color. Aromas of lemon zest, white peach, honey suckle and hints of lanolin. Nice, round mouthfeel. Acidity is present but takes a backseat. Lingering finish with a hint of almonds on the back palate.

Big rhone style while with predominant Marsanne, also some viognier and chardonnay, unique blend. Lovely flavors, apples and pears, with a bit of an oily mouth feel typical of the Marsanne. Long finish, not overoaked....paired with grilled swordfish

Biiiig wine. Very vicous, oily mouthfeel. Loaded with pear, apple, lemon custard, and sprinkle a little olive oil on top. The 15.2 alc was just a wee bit too over the top or else this would've scored higher. Would be interested to try it in vintages where the alc is <15%

I know people go crazy for viognier/marsanne blends, and this is a personal taste issue, but I don't see it. The Marsanne muddies the viognier and the viognier masks the complexity of the marsanne. Parker liked it. It was a well made wine. They clearyly meant to do this, but no thanks.

Outstanding bottle of wine. The complexity was very impressive as was the finish. Creaminess without oak, some bananna and straw flavors. All very well balanced and the acidity was pitch perfect both with and withour food. I am just disappointed that I only bought one. Off to find a few more bottles!

This is a red winer drinker's white. Had with some stunning sushi, including toro, salmon eggs with uni, and assorted other fish-based dishes. Great crispness, but has some warmth to it - had to explain. Tropical fruit overtones but very rich, buttery, and complex. Very aggressive for a white. Possibly the perfect combo for fatty sushi. Expensive, but definitely worth it.

A huge white blend of Viognier, Chardonnay, and Marsanne. Blends with CA Chardonnay are usually so dominated by the CA Chardonnay that it was useless to use other varietals. Although the Chard. certainly takes a front seat in this wine, the Viognier manages to express itself very nicely with a considerable floral presence. Packaging is top notch. The wine is outstanding. Pricely but worth it. 14% alco (D6.6, F 7; DaV)
