Second Sauternes or more Barsac of the week, strange :)
The wine shows a light evolution, golden, and has still exotics and honey at the same time, balanced and long enough to be called a great wine, with a lot to go still.
great acidity still and that is important to all the haters, Sauternes and more over Barsac are great wines, drinkable and refined, all the one I ve had so far are still very enjoyable and the balance is there with a great acidity to enhance the style and balance the power !

Great value with a fine balance of acidity to go with the sweet apricot and marmalade fruit. Not quite the depth and length of some Sauternes but then it hasn't got the price tag either!

Bruce Cass Class #3 (Fort Mason, San Francisco): Yellow-gold color, quite light. Nose has some peach, a hint of botrytis. Very light and thin wine with a slight bitter finish. A bit flat. Not great.

No botrytis, diesel, or the usual Sauternes profile. Pleasant, but lacking in depth or excitement.

Insane value for the money. An awesome second wine. I can't imagine how great the 2005 Climens must be. I need to find more of this. ****

Decanter Bordeaux Fine Wine Encounter (The Landmark Hotel, London): Beautiful nose. Delightful flavours of melon and pear match well with its subtle acidity.
