My last bottle of 2 cases - and every bottle has been at least very good. I have noticed that the flavors have remained the same - dark cherry, earth, spice and oak, but that the wine has taken on more body and concentration over the past year. Very big, smooth and flavorful now - and probably at, or just past, its peak.

Another really nice bottle. Dark fruits, spice and a brambly component that adds complexity and interest. Fruit forward with a medium+ body and a super smooth, velvety texture. Nice complexity and a smooth, fruity finish. Seems to be getting a bit bigger and a bit softer over time. Still drinking just fine, but it is probably not going to get any better. I have now had almost 2 cases of this wine and every bottle has been very enjoyable.

DO NOT DECANT. Evolves fast. Clasic pinot but with some interesting twists. Dirty jeweled nose steps right up to the funk line; pulsating fruit fades and returns. Finishes caustic.

I have enjoyed well over a case of this wine during the past year. They have all been very good and this one was no exception. Fruit-forward style with dark fruits, spice and some herbs/bramble. Plush, round texture and soft edges with a rather full body for a pinot. Seems to be adding more ripeness and plushness over time, and while the fruit is holding up just fine right now, it seems to have peaked. I am probably going to "drink up" over the next year.

Color of dirty strawberries that have been left out in the sun awhile and begun to turn brown. Strong scent of strawberry pie with a dollop of vanilla ice cream and cinnamon on top. Medium bodied, a bushel of raspberries, slightly tart cherries, baking spices, still present but fading acid, sweet tannins, and a medium finish. Not a delicate pinot, but really delicious. Seems to be nearing the end of its prime drinking window.

Lots of character in this wine - dark fruits, spice and a brambly component. Nice rich, deep flavors with a medium to full body and a long finish. This is a really enjoyable, rich, dark-fruited wine with a full, firm texture and plenty of grip.

Similar to previous bottles - dark fruit, a bit of spice, some herbs and a pronounced brambly character. Very good depth of flavors with a rich, juicy texture. Nice fruity & woodsy finish. Fruit forward but not overdone and with enough structure to balance the fruit.

Dark, ripe fruits with an herbal and woodsy character. Juicy and rich on the palate with a medium body and a long fruity finish. Mostly dark cherry and berry flavors with a candied quality and good depth. New world, fruit-forward in style, but with enough grip and tannin to keep it from being sappy or overdone.

there is definitely something here. took a while to open up. the nose was wonderful from the get go, but it really took about 40 mins for the wine to show some fruit. nonetheless, it was evident that the wine had something else lurking. it was after a few other wines, so hard to really put a finger on.

On the nose, dark cherry, anise, cedar, a hint of leather, and some dry earth notes. Woodsy fruit on the palate, specifically cherry, berries, and a touch of strawberry. Vanilla comes through on the finish, along with additional wood. Well balanced, with moderate acidity and light to medium tannins. A fruity, woodsy Pinot. Very New World in style (I couldn't find it on the website, but I'm thinking American oak was used).

This showed much better at the winery when we bought it last year, but last night it was very closed, slightly acidic, fruit was gone. Where o where did the fruit go??

Blackberry and cassis, followed by cloves and abundant black pepper. Very nice with ahi and a spicy sauce!

Nice cherry/raspberry flavors, good acidity. Would go well with food but this one was enjoyed on its own. Good QPR.
