Bright red fruit and plums. Some dusty tannin. A little too cold right out of the cellar to get much more than this. Had a few notes of oxidation here and there as well. Lots of acid. Good pairing with steak.

Tobacco, currant, and candied grape (grape cool aid) on the nose. Sweet fruit smell is dominant. Heavily blackberry and currant dominated which again comes off "grapey" to me (almost medicinal). Tannins are still a little rough on its own, pairs with a steak very well. Acid tannin balance is great, but the wine is overly fruited for my taste which throws it out of balance. Long finish. If I had to describe this wine in one phrase it would be "grape bomb". Must've had too much the last review. Good but not great.

Decanted for 1hour before drinking. Strong fruit nose with a nice smooth dark fruit tongue. Close to the typical Rutherford taste. Very little tannins on the finish. I like it! The wine looks Garnet colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like and Blackberry. It tastes like Blackberry, and Black currant (cassis). The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Smooth texture. The wine finishes Medium.

A little tight at first, but opened up nicely. The stewed quality was still there, but the bright fruit behind it worked nicely as well.

A little out of balance for me. Fruit and tannins not jiving. Not terrible but not great.
