Open on the nose giving crushed red and dark berries, liquorice, apple core, slight florals, meaty nuances and dusty chocolaty oak. Medium to full bodied with balanced acidity and pretty smooth tannins. Somewhat meaty and juicy feel with notes of vanilla oak, green olives, smoke, white pepper and stone dust towards the mid-length finish. Rather pure Syrah-aromatics with some oak notes. Nice QPR and not pushing it.

Had a simple nose that was clean and a little weak, but fruity
Taste included lots of cherry that was full bodied with moderate tannins hitting the back palate
The finish was medium in length, mostly a continuation of tannins fading from the palate
Overall, this was a good solid syrah for the price point, though I found it a bit unremarkable and lacking from the perspective of being anything I would consider "interesting".
Although I wouldn't necessarily have this with my best meal, I can easily see pairing this with a roast beef sandwich (or a grilled burger) at lunchtime, possibly with a deli pickle on the side....

Raspberries are apparent at the chest before being overwhelmed by the pepper at the nose.
High acid and bitter finish. Found the wine to be very coarse and bracing. Deep thermo from overbearing alcohol.
Unbalanced and no finesse. Didn't enjoy.

Shows pure, ripe Washington fruit. Very approachable and a solid value.

Very easy to approach, lots of ripe fruit. The plum is dominating, both in nose and taste, almost port-like. Good value for money.

Solid QPR - Good everyday wine that out does many of the sub-$10 category wines

Nice everyday...Syrah...nothing to rave about...just enough fruit to make it interesting and to buy again
