Orange yellowish color. Quite light nose, hints of orange peel, whip cream with citrus fruit. Great palette, excellent mouth feel, very round, medium acid lime cream, orange cream sickle flavors. Nice 20 sec finish. Creamy oak feel to the fruit. Crisp clear tasty stuff a little cider flavors. Delicious.

A very nice SB - golden color. Nose and palate full of orange peel, lemon drop, good creamy mouth feel, and nice complexities. Lemon meringue pie on the finish. Overall quite impressed with this wine and holding up well for a 7 year old SB. It is very elegant, and pleasure to drink right now.

Probably my favorite Sauvignon Blanc. I block has some of the oldest SB vines in North America and the complexity shows in the wine. Tons of layers of flavor. One of the few Sauvignon Blancs that I believe improve with age.

2011 Philadelphia Wine Festival (Marriott, Philadelphia PA): Really nice -- soft pineapple. medium acid. well integrated oak. i wrote down this was the best fume blanc i've ever had, but now i see it is double the price of any other i've had.... there's magic in that to kalon soil.

Tasting at Robert Mondavi (Spotlight Room): Lovely Fume Blanc, definitely in the Loire style...crisp, elegant, citrus undertones. Block I from the To Kalon vinelard; 62 years old vines, top growth, no trellis.
