In a beautiful spot right now. Light golden color; Toasty oak, yeast on the nose with some citrus notes and even some baked apple pie (as absurd as that sounds.) LIght on the palate, but very juicy. toasty notes really coming through on the palate along with some lemon cream. Wonderfully long, refreshing and crisp finish. Just in a fantastic spot at the moment.

Very light to medium straw color...and on opening an immeadiate hit of yeasty dough on the nose...other wise a tight nose with light citrus notes and a sense of light minerals. Crisp, tight, and dry...with a rounded grip with time...but the dry edge never left. Sipped without food...but I could see where the right dish could develop this a little more.

Very good CA Blanc de Blanc. Aromas/flavors of citrus, apple and yeast. Elegant and rich mouthfeel with rich, creamy finish that delivers giner, baked bread and hazelnut.

Wonderful CA Blanc de Blanc with aromas of citrus, green apple, and fresh baked bread. Well structured and elegant with nice creamy finish that has yeast and ginger notes. Fine effort from very good vintage.

Pleasant sparkler but little complexity. There was a hint of residual sugar that detracted from this wine but made it match well with dessert. Nice but I wouldn't buy it at their current price point ~$30.

A tremendous value! Ever meet folks who just "don't like champagne/sparkling wine?" Of course that's because they have never had anything approaching the experience this wine provides. Enjoy.

Blanc de Blanc is one of the best from Schramsberg, and 01 was a great year. Open this bottle before dinner and consumer with caprese. It was amazing, lite, excellent fruit flavors.

A very well made CA sparkling wine that maintains adequate levels of acidity to balance the copious amounts of fruit. Certainly worth the price of admission but I tend to like the mineral/lemon/yeasty character of well made BdB champagnes (at almost twice the price of course).

Color of pale apple cider. Medium-large mousse. Nose of pomes (I just learned that's the apple/pear family). Very fruity palate at first, but rounds out to some nice toasty butter notes after a bit of air. At $13/half, we really enjoy this wine.

Straightforward light apple fruit with a bit of a grating acid dosage feel. Simple with lots of mousse. Quaffable. Finish drops off quickly.

LILA Tasting: Complex nose of citrus/earthy (coffee?) notes; citrus mouth, but good structure, pure grapefruit notes; a bit tart-lime fin. #2/6!
