Bright gold. Quite ripe feel, and perfectly resolved; this is in a great place right now with a real GC feel. Great balanced acidity and citrusy briny notes. Quite a stunner at this time

A better showing for this wine. Only very moderate signs of aging and no undue oxidation. Great freshness and texture. Beautiful Chablis character with excellent intensity.

7th bottle out of the case. This wine showed some signs of oxidation but not enough to destroy the wine. Deep glden hue but no obvious signs of deterioration. Still great claasic Chablis aromatics but perhaps lacking a little in acidity and freshnesh. Some bottle variation, so the closure remains the suspect.

This bottle showed very well. Stylistically, this wine is halfway between Auxerre and the cotes de Beaune. The salinnity/minerality is not very pronounced but the wine is harmonious and the texture is quite rich. it could, perhaps, have used a little more acidity but a great wine with grilled salmon.

Not quite as fresh as previous bottle but still very enjoyable. No hint of excess of oak. On this evening upstaged by a bottle of 2012 Ravines Chardonnay...

Opened for 1h. Mature & ripe both in nose and palate. Ripe peach and even some wood. Not really nice. Palate goes from good to not so good. Despite it starts being lean and direct, it expands and in the end feels way too heavy. Not my thing. Quite a treat to drink this wine since it's hard to get a hold of. However it didn't mee t the high expectations I had. Also, being drank along a couple of Dauvissat's Clos didn't help either and fell in comparison.

Greatly exceeded my expectations... I have to disagree with previous write-ups lamenting excess of oak. The oak is beautifully integrated in a supporting role. This wine still shows excellent vibrancy, firm acidic backbone, great minerality, creamy texture and no signs of premox. It will easily last for another 5-8 years.

Healthy yellow without any brown. Lemon drop, vanilla, and fennel. Medium weight, pleasing mouth feel, although not as dense or weighty as some Grand Cru Chablis. Very good, persistent lemon/orange fruit, algal edge, and again vanilla bean courtesy of the oak. Better core structure than the last bottle. Strong points-ripe citrus fruit and elegant package. The downside is the wood, although this was not nearly as dominant or intrusive as in a bottle earlier this year. No sense holding these any longer.

Full bright yellow. Some nice iodine/seaweed tones. Right out of the bottle, extremely dominated by spicy oak; this flavor is just completely foreign to Chablis. Full and lush with some chalkiness but inadequate snap and verve for Chablis. Best after a few hours of air when orange peel emerges and the wood recedes a bit but not far enough. Funny wine-good material but completely overdone barrel treatment and somewhat soft.

Chalk and lemon zest aromas that open up a bit with time in the glass. Medium weight. Nice density and mouthfeel. Less cut than I would expect from the vintage. ? Dumb stage.

Similar experience to last bottle.
Still good Chablis character, but time to drink up before it develops more of an oxidative character.

Nose felt like my favorite type of Champagne, nutty toasty, yeasty. Loved it! very intense and savory.

Chablis, Melville Clonal Blending and The Round 3 Let 'Er Rip (My House In The South OC): Briny and tight, with lots of complexity underneath the structure. Yet, there is also some smoothness to the wine and a sense of polish. I suspect this wine will be quite something once it has time to settle in, given the raw components that were there.
