morello cherries from a preserving bottle, no amarena cherries at all (this is not sweet)!^^ good acidity, just right in balance...adstringing, but in an elegant way and pleasing (at least ONE rough edge)!. not an oakmonster like lots of other reservas, a bit too well-behaved and slick and very very juicily. some herbs and a green thing going on...

Almost rather classical Chianti. Not too heavy, quite lean, plenty of amarena cherries, not too much oak influence and well proportionated. Unfortunately a bit too astringing. It is a fine wine, but the strong acid attributes are slighty disturbing. I hope, and thing, this isn't a typical 2006 thing. Anyway I have to confess I might 've opened this one a bit too early. Certainly good substance and developing potential.

Friske kirsebær, deilig sangiovesefrukt. Tydelige tanniner, noe eik. Utpreget matvin, ingen "kose-chianti" dette. Uttørkende i munnen, lang ettersmak som sitter. Vinen sitter fint i hele smakskurven, ingen dødpartier. En flott standardchianti.

An extremely well balanced chianti, which got better and better with some air. Drank it with a stew of deer. Absolutely gorgeous.

Best plain chianti classico I've ever tasted. Full, structured, tannic - but soft and rich!
