  • Past it’s peak. Really nice on the nose but lacking on the palate

  • This started off pretty nicely, with a nice St. Emilion structure, earth, and good balance. But with air it got off kilter and the oak started to dominate. This tempered some, but still was problematic by the time the bottle was finished. I would tend to sit on these a few more years.

  • Medium ruby core, medium pale garnet rim. Ripe plum and vanilla nose, just a hint of earth. Medium bodied on the palate, plenty of ripe plum fruit, vanilla, blackcurrant hints. Sweet fruit, plenty of vanilla, lovely balancing fresh acidity, elegant resolved fine tannins, good length attractive finish. Perhaps lacks a little complexity but extremely enjoyable with attractive flavours, elegance and lovely balance. Now - 2009.

  • Medium/deep ruby core, medium brick red rim. Developed, medium + intensity nose showing damson and strawberry with hints of earth and vanilla. On the palate, medium ripe tannins and medium acidity balanced by very well concentrated damson and red berry fruits, hints of earth and vanilla on a very good length, well balanced finish. Very good indeed, with good depth, complexity and balance. Drink now and over next 2-3 years.
