Aged Pinot Gris is awesome! I am going to let my 2008 & 2009 sit until 2015 and see how they come out.
Deep golden straw color. Nose of pears, orange blossoms and honey suckle. Fruit is crisp Bartlett pears, honey, citrus notes and vanilla notes wrapped around the minerality. A wonderful clean but full bodied mouthfeel. A wonderful wine!

Memorial Day Weekend near Salem Oregon (Willamette Valley Oregon): Heavy, over ripe pears show on the nose along with some faint honey scents. The pears deliver on the palate along with some thick, green pear skins. The finish is elegant, and the honey from the nows appears here. Hints of structure rise up further out on the finish.

I had this at a wine dinner last night and was very pleasantly surprised. Did not take notes, but it was both crisp and full bodied, with rich flavors of pear and melon. Not at all flabby or flat, it was vibrant and complex ,with a nice rich finish. Very enjoyable and well above my expectations.

Tasting in the Eola Amity AVA (Willamette Valley): Crisp but funky nose. Some mellons show on the palate, along with blood orange. There's a slap of funk on the finish which goes on a bit to an overall dry finish. Not really too much going on.

Nice...loads of pear, some honey, a little flint. Great find for $7.50!

Simple but refreshing pg, with ample melon and pear traits that carried a slight musky quality.

Memorial Day Weekend Wine Tour (Eola-Amity Hills): Very mild light nose, not much going on. The wine is flabby in structure with very light acid and a hint of pear flavors.

This was a nice bottle. More complex than many Pinot Gris I've had. Give it a try
