This was big and ripe; black raspberry, black cherry, some forest floor and earth/mushroom are developing; good, but maybe lacks a little balance and energy

Big, rich, ripe and lush - not a typical Oregon pinot, but typical of the 2006 vintage and very tasty-. Dark cherry with good depth and an earthy, souis-bois character. It strikes me as still being in its drinking window with plenty of fresh fruit, great balance and nice grip. This wine was properly stored since its' release.

Drinking very well. I know about the comments Archery Summit too expensive for what you get. May be bottle to bottle but mine is very balanced, good fruit and dark cherry and currant. Earthy mushroom as you would expect from an Oregon Pinot.

Wedding weekend wine tasting! (Willamette Valley): Completely disagree with the previous note, but perhaps it was in a dumb phase a few months ago or maybe the fact that we drank from winery stored helped us. This wine was really lovely and possibly the best of the Archery Summit vintage tasting. Nice and complex and good fruit and light tannin and I thought came across almost on the younger side. Very good.

Acceptable, mellow wine. Not much kick or fruit. Nose is largely gone. Should have had a while ago. If you have any left (I have 2 more), do not delay drinking.

Good but not great. These wines are really good in great years for Oregon but are overpriced in typical years. This was better several years back. I let this one age to see how it would hold up. At 40 I would consider it a really good value but not over 100

This was disappointing. Hopefully a bad bottle, but drank alongside a 06 Shea Homer and both had similar profiles. Fruit was basically gone, with a lot of heat on the back. I think these were either past their prime or bad bottles. Due the vintage I believe simply past their prime

Excellent Pinot! Tasted blind alongside '98 Beaux Freres Vineyard, '03 Archery Amis Cuvee, and '05 Liz Spencer. This and the BF were standouts. Initially this had a dry and tannic finish, but everything came together beautifully as it opened up. Hit its peak about 4 hours in and held strong throughout the night. I think this has plenty of years ahead of it. If you decide to open now, just give it a couple hours to decant

Pleasant nose, cherry flavors, but not as much fruit as we expected. Lots of nice tannins still, well integrated with a great mouth feel. Flavor stays on the palate, though it doesn't seem to have a powerful finish. Our last bottle of this, I think it is time to drink this wine, I wouldn't continue to hold it.

Opened and let slow-ox for about an hour. Initially, not a lot was coming out of this. Developed earthy and cherry aromas. Still not a very expressive wine at all - not sure if it is just awkward at this stage, but just not impressed at all with this.

Tasted blind with 12 other Dundee Hills 2006 pinot's. This was the consensus WOTN, lost tasting notes, but remember it being the biggest and most complex of all the wines.

Decanted. This is actually very similar to the 06 Arcus Estate. This was a little more delicate/elegant than the Arcus, though, which was huge. 5 hours later and going strong. Showing wonderful fresh notes of blueberry on the nose and palate. Will save my last bottle till at least 2013.

The tannins are well integrated but some democrats are still in office. ( see a previous review) Great nose, dark berries, lots of flavor...still it is over priced.

Very nicely put together pinot. Various red fruits on the palate along with baking spices, well-intergrated oak and good acid. Earthy and deep. Really very good but I wouldn't buy it again given the price tag.

It was an ok bottle of 06 Oregon PN. Not as big as some but not as fully flavored and balanced. I have had much better 06 PN's for $25-30, rather than $120.

Deep ruby color, almost opaque. Nose of dark cherry, raspberry, oak. Similar on the palate, somewhat charry from the abundant tannins. This definitely has stuffing for ageing, and I'm sure it will get better. I'm not sure it is worth the price tag. Its just that for that price there are so many other wines which would be superior in complexity.

i was told this is a winery club purchase only, and that it cost about $150. get OUT!! so what did they do, have a marketing meeting to discuss the limitations of chutzpa? i know, let's charge the highest amount ever for an oregon pinot, make it in micro amounts, and our gullible supporters will buy it just to say they have some. oh, yeah, i'm familiar with that strategy... right out of the levy-mcclellan playbook written in their napa best seller, " how to ram an invoice up the butts of your mailing list." the only thing harder to swallow than the price was this wine, which did a wonderful imitation of an anvil strike to your head. by the time the tannins integrate, the republicans will be back in office.

Very good but still very young Oregonian Willamette Valley pinot enjoyed with Kim at Tao restaurant at the Venetian in Vegas. Spicy with good mouth feel but will improve with maturation - in 2-3 years will expect this to be a stunner. Stood up to spicy Asian food extremely well. Bright nose with red cherry and vanilla. Primary flavors included red cherry, allspice, some vanilla and development of a significant amount of white pepper on aftertaste. Definitely recommend this wine, would decant if drunk now.

Very nice. Not too old but it’s a typical archery summit which is a bit over extracted. I am enjoying.
