Still has a crispness and angularity to it but the flavors seem to have dulled without offering much intrigue to compensate for the loss of luster. Hard to imagine this wasn't better a few years ago.

From magnum again and really lovely the moment the cork was pulled, combining mature white fruited flavours, savoury earthy/truffled notes and a faint toasted almond element that remains in the background. There's a sense of restraint and elegance here, decent acidity though with some air it starts to feel a little warm on the back end.

From magnum. Really lovely; rich white fruits, savoury truffle-like flavours and other developed notes merging into one seamless whole. Fantastic balance and length, delicious.

It scares me how much I find myself enjoying aged white burgs. The nose was fresh and showed pear and brie with a sweet dustiness. On the palate, It was a beautifully aged white with roasted nuts, burnt sugar and sharp cheddar. The finished was lasting with buttery toasted almonds.

low fill but this was in great shape...I have limited experience with older white burgs, but this was very fresh...certainly no prem-ox issues...the wine showed some toasty, bready flavors much like you get with older champagne but without the acidity levels...very enjoyable

Jadot Chevalier-Montrachet "Demoiselles" Vertical 1989-2004 (Spring - Chicago IL): Showed some mustiness to start, which dissipated after about 15 minutes and then (briefly) showed some floral aromas. As it opened it also started showing some honeyed character, which became increasingly oxidative with more and more air. While not over-the-hill, I'd be drinking this soon.
