Light gold with a slight darkness. Great bubbles, loads.... and I mean LOADS of flavors. Really full bodied, spicy wood still apparent, but not obtrusive. For such a rich wine this really maintains excellent freshness. Long finish. Excellent wine. Drinking nice, but for my taste I would hold a few more years.

Definitely on the more forward and easy drinking style. This is my first encounter with this producer and the notes seemed promising. Nice creamy nose of toasted almonds, creme fraiche, ripe pear skin, and sweet lemon meringue topping. Rich creamy full mouthfeel, good length and fresh acid. Seems like a champagne that is built in a more forward style with an inherent richness and sweetness.

One of the ripest and easy drinking champagnes of this year - full of ripe apples and brioche. Loads of it. Medium (+) body, apparently coming from its Pinot Noir dominance as well as quite high dosage, however, still elegant. Had it with sea bass and scallops - beautiful combination. Cheers!

Bröd, äpplen på nästan, komplex doft som också har lite torkad frukt. Lite mognadstoner, krisp med bra syra, tropiska frukter och lite honung i smaken, dröjer sig kvar länge, ett bra vin, intressant!

Grower Champagnes (Chateau Todd - Dana Point, CA): Aggressive and crisp in style with intense notes of green apples, tropical fruits, and honeycomb. Weighty on the palate and richly textures. A big boy, or with respect to the label, a BBW.

Grower Champagnes at Todd's (Chateauneuf de Todd): Tons of concentration here that is a bit wrapped up. Lots of young apple falvored fruit and slight oxidation notes. This has tremendous potential and was a bit of a head turner for me. It's best days are ahead of it.

Much sweeter than I remembered. Not real advanced but showing lots of dosage.

Very light and youthful looking. Orange blossom nose, spiced peach, very light and fresh, strong mineral kick in the finish. Outstanding wine.

Perfumed complex nose with some signs of yeast. Complex concentrated palate shows mostly apples right now. Back to sleep.

Compared to last time, this bottle has mellowed out a bit. Much more refined, but still very tasty. 91-92 points.
