Brought to dinner with friends at Ocean Palace. Pop and pour. Just amazing how fresh this is at age 12. So light and crisp with lovely lychee, rose water, and kumquat. Popular with everyone. Perfect with the non-sweet dishes. My last bottle. :(

Softer and sweeter than I remember but still very drinkable. It’s clinging to the last of its acidity so I’d drink this vintage soon. The nose is less floral than a typical Gewürz. Enjoyed very much with our turkey

Dinner with Mikhail & Svetlana (Chez V): Pop and pour with Mikhail and Svetlana. OMG, this has improved dramatically since our last bottle in 2015. Blind I would think is an Alsace Grand Cru from a good producer. It has developed such complexity and intensity. If you have any left give it a try. Loads of lychees and kumquats in the nose. In the mouth, the wine is so expansive. It fills the mouth with flowers and lychee and minerals. Simply stunning.

Delicious fresh white. Mild Gewurz flavor. Amy says it goes well with peanut butter (Teddie's Crunchy). Open one week in the fridge: Lovely mild floral and lychee nose. Delicate, complex, very dry. Tasty.

Fresh, dry, appealing nose of honeyed rosewater and kumquats. Fresh in the mouth, with a hint of sweetness. Goes beautifully with Irish cheddar, grapes, and baguette. Leftover good with House Chow Fun.

Classy good. Just enough fruit to tempt the drinker to guess what's on the other side of dry. Flavorful and spicy, well paired with Asian food tonight. The sleeper at a table of dudes. Rare that a white wins such a distinction.

Of all the whites, I thought this went the best with my spicy Indian food. Pale, silvery/green gold in color. The nose is more mineral driven with only a hint of lychee nuts. Despite the label saying Dry, there was a bit of sweetness here which was welcome. Nice complexity, medium bodied. Very solid wine.

Deeper color. The nose shows fragrant aromas of rose petal, tropical fruits, citrus and a hint of spice. This is medium bodied on the palate with very good concentration and good class. The fairly long finish shows a strong mineral element and a hint of spice.

Pungent, fragrant and rich - on the nose and palate. Great body, spice. Slightly clipped on the finish but a complex gewurtz with appeal.

nice flavors. a little sweet, got flabby, especially if not drunk cold enough. once it was cchilled, the acidity was brighter and able to cut through.

New Years Eve (Collingswood and Philadelphia): nice, very dry gewurz style. apple, floral, and tropical fruit.

Tasted at the winery. This is great, but needs at least 6 months in the bottle before opening, maybe a year. This will let it open up a bit, I think.
