As always pretty and intense but alsways feels a bit of a lazy wine and one that we thought given year and terroir they could do so much more. Is it a good wine ? For sure and good value but they could do so much better. 91-92

Looks deeper than it tastes - dried apricot and green apple. Crisp rather than creamy in the mouth with high acidity. Sweet entry but dry and fairly long finish. Good although lacks some complexity and finesse. It’s in the zone for pairing with food, it would work well with fatty pork or creamy chicken. 92pts

I have often found Riesling to be amazingly resilient. This particular bottle was shipped to me in IA last October from NYC (via UPS in the standard Styrofoam case packaging). When I opened the box I discovered this bottle, label extracted, along with a few others, swimming at the bottom in a pool of broken glass and spilled auslese.
In any event, this bottle was no worse for the wear. Delicious, in fact. So fresh, it was hard to believe it was 15. That beautiful balance, and tension, of acid and sweetness, paired very nicely with grilled brats, onions and peppers, and truffle mustard. Mostly tropical fruits -- mango and pineapple -- jumped out at me. Interestingly, very little in the way of the secondary aged Riesling characteristics. And very long. Somehow my friend and I didn't finish the bottle, so the next night I pulled it out of the fridge, drank a glass solo, and the wine hadn't missed a beat.

Just when I thought I was no longer enjoying off dry German Riesling, I open this one and I love it. Dark golden hue with flavors of honey, apricot, and pineapple with notes of petrol. Level of sweetness is in check.

Big Time Barolo and Barbaresco Fest et al (Il Foro, Mpls, MN): Medium gold color. Drank 1 glass over 40 minutes. This had really nice fruit, crisp mouthwatering acidity, honey, tangerine, pineapple, sappy in a good way on the palate. Long finish. Excellent.

Bought on release. Decanted for 2 hours. Aging beautifully. Not nearly the sweet fruit bomb it was on release. Nose is not very expressive. Notes of orange blossoms and some baby powder. Palate has much more depth. Has a viscous, honey like texture. Long finish with strong acid backbone. It is quite tropical (lychee). In a good place now. Will only improve.

Aromas of zesty lemon and grapefruit, beautiful rich gold color, more grapefruit mixed with honey flavors. Rich, sweet, full-bodied, with enough acidity to bring it all together. Drank in WNY with DRB.

At Nancy's on Christmas Day. Dark golden yellow color. Brilliant. Complex nose. Fine. Apricot. Butterscotch. Caramel. Very lovely flavors. Dances across the palate with perfect structure, balance and the whole melange of flavors you would want to experience on this type of wine. Extremely fine wine with a long, rich finish. Bravo! 5-13-18-8: 94/100.

From half a bottle at Megu. Enjoyed very much with dinner. My wife had one word to describe it - PEACHY. This seems to be drinking very well now. Good underlying acidity, nice minerality, softer profile, but full of fruit and very easy-drinking at 7.5% alc. Sweetness is very restrained. It was a bargain on the wine list.

Tasted over an hour. Nose teases with intricate details of what it can be. Yes this is infancide but it is so much fun! Slowly hints of apple, pear, and orange marmalade...yes orange marmalade on the finish reveal themselves over the slowly disolving supher and petrol. The balance is supurb. Silky, soft, and an evergrowing finish make this a joy to sniff, sip, and think about. Beyond the emotions the wine draws out; the color is a bright, light straw. The nose is ever evolving now that the sulpher is fading (after 30 min). It isn't the most complex wine, not suprising given the youth, but the texture is so very alluring. This split won't make it tomorrow so I'll be hitting the web to find more of this if it is still available at a reasonable price.

Lovely, full, lively. Honied fruit with great acid. Clear, clean, crisp. At a good mature age. Not frading (from 375). Excellent.

Lush and silky. Great maturity. Baked green apple. Long finish with good acid. Less sweet than I expected. Really beautiful and in a great place.

Scent of lemon zest on the nose. Peach and honey mouthfeel. Almost sauterne-like.

This was a mistake, this is still really primary and not showing much, let them sleep for a few more years.
