L1. Wine tasting at Phenol. Warmup bf reds. Magnum. Disjointed out of bottle with weird acid/premox mix. Others said it was excellent so tried again at end of night. More pronounced premox notes. Missed any goodness.

{Bought on release, tasted as part of monthly group White Burg Premier Cru tasting} initially lots of cut, then full and flavorful, buttery. Some tasters liked its mix of earthiness and creaminess. Elegant, minerally for me. Group #2 of 9 wines. Would drink before 2020.

A little on the funky side. Might be an off bottle. Less citrus than I remember from the last time I had one. Vanilla and cream. Less balanced. Needs some acid.

Earthiness on the nose. Some funk initially on the palate but nice bright acidity. Good balance and very food friendly. Some oak/vanilla on the palate and really enjoyable citrus. Very nice

Light gold core, youthful looking. At this stage the oak has been integrated nicely. Notes of citrus peel, mineral, almost flint like on the nose. Palatte similar to the nose with great acidity, long finish. Elegant and well balanced. Great ageing potential.

Beautifully balanced. Lemon curd, citrus, a hint of tropical bronzed mango/pineapple. Great acidity, lengthy finish. Overall perfect for a hot April Sunday afternoon.

Excellent Puligny. Bright, super-fresh fruit with a tactile, chalky texture. It's actually quite thick in material but the acids are so fresh and precise it doesn't come across fat.

Mouthwatering acidity overcame lack of much depth or complexity. Wine had interesting if not unusual petrol-like quality on the nose that became almost herbal on the palate. Not something you generally find in white burgundies. Good QPR.

Enjoyed this more than a prior bottle. Drank yesterday and did not take notes, so going from memory. This one was still somewhat lean, but had more depth, complexity and body than a previous bottle. Decent citrus fruit flavors with a hint of toast and overall good complexity. Light to medium weight with good balance and a medium finish.

Rather lightweight and lean - both in flavor and body. Neither the depth or complexity I would expect from this wine. Has some citrus notes in an overall silky and very refreshing package. Not even a hint of oak, butter or vanilla.

rich, glycerin mouth feel. Oak could be more integrated. Fine now, fine for a few more years
