Showing brick color, has reached its aging potential, will start declining in a fee years, tertiary aromas, complex, mid length. Will not get better, drink up and enjoy.

Feeling pretty mature. Not complex but good robust black fruit and tannin with some earthiness and a decent mouthfeel. Medium length. Will last a while yet.

The first two bottles I tried of this wine in 2012 and 2014 were less than desirable, but this wine is finally drinking very well, it's actually a good value now, if you were patient enough to wait on it.

Well, my mother-in-law liked this so at least my last bottle went to a good cause. Perhaps the quality of the company helped put things in perspective because it didn't taste quite as appalling as the last two. Not a wine I would take to a desert island.

Same as the last one - each to his own but even if you like this type of wine it's a poor example. Either way it tastes heavily chaptalised without the body to support it. I shall keep my last one for a lunch with my mother-in-law.

It starts quite brightly, with fresh aromas of raspberry and blackcurrant, so I was pleasantly surprised, but in the mouth....unripe fruit, green, bell peppers, like a bad Loire red. Light, hollow, but worse still, cursed with a hot finish. How (or rather why?) such a wine could "achieve" 14° with such patently unripe fruit is a mystery. 65 pts and I'm being generous. If you have to give a present to a colleague you thoroughly dislike as a leaving present, this will do nicely.

Got this in a wine society mystery case of wines that may be past their best. No signs of being past it. Delicious.

Surprisingly good, not at all declining, probably at its peak.

Still drinking well, classic mature bordeaux, tannins prominent.

Still holding on - I don't think this is at the end - fruit is still good and although the tannins have gone they have left a decent backbone.

Coffee, earth, cassis aromas open up this early drinking crowd pleaser that ends with flavors of kirsch and plums.
