  • Very similar in style to the 2004 vintage. Varietal composition: 85 percent Garnatxa (more than 60 years old vines) and 15 percent Cabernet Sauvignon ; aged for 10 months in Allier barriques (50 percent new). Deeply concentrated black-red colored wine with an intense bouquet of blackcurrant, kirsch, fresh herbs and a fine oak touch. Full-bodied, well-balanced palate with loads of ripe red fruit and firm, but already quite well integrated tannins. Extended length. To be decanted at least 2-3 hours. Drink it now through 2015. Very good value.

Lange afdronk. Best 2-3 uur op voorhand te decanteren. Een aanrader.

  • Dark red, lots of acidity (PN type) and tannins with dark fruits and medium body, still not ready to drink but could very well have potential. Particular the acidity made the wine less pleasant than it could/should be but hopefully it will be rounded off.
