Very honeyed with intense apricot and citrus aromas, viscous mouthfeel and generous peach-apricot flavors with a fine mineral thread. Acidity tamed and structure on the decline.

Medium yellow. Light-medium intense nose of tangerine, peach, granite. Dry, refreshing acidity acidity, lanolin, lemon and minerals on the mid-palate. Light bodied, balanced. Bitter, puckery finish. Medium length. This seems less mature than the previous half, like 2-3 years behind in evolution.

With Brian and Janet. Wow -- I bought too little and drank too quickly. Still a few years away from full maturity, but already full, rich, powerful with complex flavors of lime peel, peach skin, minerals. Similar notes in the nose an just a hint of kerosene. A sharp tang of acidity is still uncomfortable, and more development is to come, but complex and attractive now.

Youthful bottle, tasting of honeyed peaches and lanolin. Fresh and creamy on the palate, this was one of the better bottles.

Light yellow with hints of green. Petrol and lemon and not much else. Virtually no fruit. Maybe it needs time? 50+9+9+7+7 = 82

Tasted at the winery 10/9/02. Very dry. Should develop nicely with 5 years in bottle.
