Unfortunately we did not take tasting notes because we had this as part of a 4 wine offering at a dinner party last night (2 white/2 red). However, as expected it's relatively short lasting taste was clearly defined as very clean crisp green apple.

Can't get enough of this wine, so glad my pal recommended it. Definitely consistent with the last bottle. Love the crisp acidity and minerality, coupled with tangy lemon zest and some granny smith apple. Very refreshing, need to seek out more.

How can you argue the QPR here? This is a wonderful food-friendly Chablis that has all the characterisitcs of the type. Minerally, chalky, lemon zest, clean, lightly oaked. Just great drinking. This is Sushi wine, preferably sashimi.

very hard for me to rate fairly, as we paired this with hot damn spicy blackened chicken & herb-roasted potatoes/veggies. It stood up to it a bit though...luckily I have 3 more bottles. with an aforementioned "blackened" tongue, the wine seemed pleasantly tart and nicely sweet without being cloying.

This is just plain *good*. All you could want in a basic Chablis - chalky mineral, apple, citrus; a little more roundness on the palate than the nose would suggest, which is welcome. Great with food (scallops in tonight's version), also nice as an aperitif. Probably the best sub $20 Chablis (hell, Chardonnay of any sort) that I've had in a long time.

Oregon pinot sampler at home: great chablis. there is a lush apricot and candied lemon peel sweetness at the core and yet there is all the freshness one would expect, stern but with ripe fruit and very fine finish and balance and structure.

Fabulous acidity here; quite the slap in the face on night one, in fact. I was crunching seashells with my teeth and loving it. Green apples and lemons, too. It's more relaxed a few days later; it shows a touch of honeyed character and the texture is softer, although I'd hardly call the structure or minerality compromised. Excellent depth and length. Probably the best "basic" Chablis I've had.

The best entry level Chablis on the market. Lime oil chalky stones lemon umami for days. Great stuff, persistent, acid hits on back of cheeks, makes you want another sip. Refreshing and lush, perfect for summer.

Solid, especially at its pricepoint. Lacks the screeching acidity and minerality of the 07 Picq VV Chablis that Brooklynguy opened two weekends ago. But this is still quite good even though it's a step down, with good clarity, an oak free palate of clear fruit, a touch of pear that seems to lend roundness and softness against the acidity, plus good minerality and acidity. Really impressive at this price.

Subtle on the nose. On the palate, shows a lot of acidity, but not at all green. Has a hint of butter that comes out on the finish. Quite good, considering that I've found this vintage to be uneven for my palate. Solid 90+

Smells of flint, apples, nectarines, & vanilla. Tastes dry, of strong green apples, and is very acidic.

Pretty much the perfect wine to accompany asparagus risotto. Lemon, apple, and great structure. Not so long of a finish, but still lovely.

Smells of green apples and play-doh. Tastes of steel, crisp tart apple, and finishes slightly bitter. Nice acidity.

Really nothing special. It was underwhelming yet still enjoyable. I guess I had low expectations to begin with.

Color: straw yellow. Nose: citrus, little else. Very closed. Taste: Lemon, green apple, some minerality. Crisp. Short finish. Rather simplistic.

Nose recalls a bit of toasted rice cracker. Palate is more lush than the Savary tasted before it, with good acidity as well. 87-88+

Clear & very pale.
Ripe green apples and minerals on the nose.
Crisp & dry with high acidity. Lasting mineral aftertaste.
