Louis Jadot Dinner with Frédéric Barnier (Booth One - Chicago IL): In Jadot CC vertical. Very ripe and very mature aromas, but more enjoyable flavors with so much massive Grand Cru concentration and power. Seemed to slightly freshen up after 15-20 minutes in glass, but this never really delivered what I hoped/ expected.

A very difficult vintage and than 13 years old, this wine shows quite well. There are signs of age (caramel), but there is still a kind of freshness (mint). In the finish the wine is loosing a bit its balance, but all together an impressive wine.

Deep yellow golden color, a little nuttiness on the bouquet along w/ some burnt vanilla/caramel. The wine is mouthcoating with lots of velvety butterscotch flavors and a smooth long finish. Drinking beautifully now.

Drunk at Buffett with my feet in a kiddy pool with two blondes who had never had a grand cru white burgundy. people, places and things. Showing a little age but hey it was Buffett, I saw a lot worse examples of past their prime.

Drunk at Buffett at Alpine. Oaky and starting to oxidize. That said, lots of good flavors and for some tasters a truly great wine. Can't imagine this will last, let alone improve.

Nose was big oak. Buttery and creamy. Hard to get past the oak on the palate also. Soft on the palate with stone fruit flavors. Decent acid. Big oaky finish. Great paired with bacon and herb white beans.

Deep yellow. Big nose of oak and ripe red apples. Almost has Spatlese notes. Nutty, too. Fairly light body as far as abv goes, but the oak is intense to the point of being overwhelming. Spicy, tannic. It has flashes of greatness but the oak dominates.

Dark golden color. Aromatics of honeyed lemon and ginger, grilled pineapple, and butter cookie. Lush fruit on the palate with some nice spice, and mineral/acidity balance. Had multiple times in the past 6 months and showing nice now.

Jadot wine dinner with Jacques Lardiere (Chicago, IL): Somewhat front-heavy and caramelized ripe yellow and orange fruit. Full-bodied with a nice minerallity to the palate. Somewhat advanced versus expectations. Tense. Very nice.

Louis Jadot Tasting (AZ Wine Company): Golden yellow color. Spiced apple nose. Tastes of lemon, apple, bubble gum, vanilla oak and melon. Medium bodied. Well balanced. Spicy finish with some interesting minerality and complexity of fruit.

Jadot Tasting with Jacques Lardiere (Knightsbridge - Northbrook IL): Ripe orchard fruit with hints of tropical fruit and plenty of new oak spice for now. Also lush on palate, but the wine's great concentration and density help keep it balanced with surprisingly clear signs of good acidity.

3rd Annual Jadot with Frederic Barnier (Booth One - Chicago, IL): Not giving much on the nose. The palate round with fairly ripe tasting and sweet fruit. Pear and orange rind. Okay, but I think the vintage is showing through here.

Maybe pre mox, or just fading. Over ripe tropical fruits, mango, pineapple, fladdy, glycerin. Bummer
