  • Wonderful odors of limestone and melon merely hint at the wonderfully buttery and rich flavors this wine revealed. The finish was long and full of minerals and palate coating fruits. This wine was a golden yellow color and perfectly mature and ready to drink. Hard to understand why it was dumped at auction for a pittance ($70 for 6 bottles plus the auctioneers vigorish) -- perfect chardonnay with the underlying acidity of a white Burgundy.
