Magnum. Outstanding concentration, complexity and freshness -- an at peak White Burgundy with minerality at its core. More nuanced than an hedonistic 07 Boillot Pucelles served side by side.

Pausing for the Cause 2022 (Chicago, IL): From magnum. Interesting to try next to the Boillot -- this was clearly less oaked and showed more purity of fruit. But it did feel a little flat as the acidity didn't seem to be as bright on the palate.

The oak is still more prominent than I would like it to be, but there is so much positive here that you can forgive it... the fruit is so vibrant and sophisticated, there is nice mouth feel.

La Paulée de New York - The Verticals (Eventi Hotel - New York NY): Walk around tasting. 11/10/07 vertical. Floral start with orchard and citrus fruit with old vine concentration coming through most clearly here. So much ere, this is an exciting wine.

The Verticals Tasting at 2020 La Paulée de New York (Eventi Hotel, New York): Dull yellow. Lively citrus aromas. Not the scale of the 2010 but very fine, with acidity and persistence that sneak up on you. This just seems to be a great cuvée from this young, talented producer year in and year out.

A bit rough out if the gate but it settled down nicely, and showed the qualities already noted by all.
