  • Ex-cellar Bouchard dinner at Ki-sho. Another stunning bottle. The ex domaine certainly played a key role. This was well loved at the table, but I personally preferred the pair of Folatieres. Very sweet bouquet of lilies, mangos, pineapple juice, almond cream, touch of honey, hazelnut, butter, truffle. Palate was very impressive - powerful yet elegant. Great acidity and so opulent on the palate with sweet juicy fruit, mandarin orange, creamy milk pudding, lavender, ginger, nutmeg, buttered brioche, toffee, truffle oil and lemon meringue. Again, such a treat to have such a perfect bottle of aged white Burgundy.
