Dark golden in color. Nose of white bread and yeast, almond paste, and a hint of caramel. Caramel and candied lemon flavor. Smooth on entry and through the palate and acidic at the finish with tart lemon that builds and lingers.

Deep gold in the glass. Nose of brioche, caramel, butter, and candied lemon. Smooth on entry and long lingering finish that dries the mouth. Stronger nose than flavors. Good, however, it’s at the end of its run.

K and I loved this. Very full bodied, yet crisp. Lemon and apple with snap of acidity. Beautiful yeasty finish. Drinking great but I could have waited. Wish I had more.

- Yellow color and aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, apple and geranium and has flavours of pineapple and apple - Very nice. Not as velvety as I recall, but nice.

NY/NJ Offline at Aureole 8.20.12 (Aureole, NYC): Moderately yeasty nose with ripe notes of pear, apple and stone fruits. Lots of fruit on the palate with some vanilla and creme brûlée oak notes. Medium body, medium fine bubbles, high acidity and a medium long to long finish. Very nice.

75% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay. Aged seven years before disgorgement. Deep golden color with tiny bubbles. Interesting nose: pear, spice, nut, and sherry aromas. Full-bodied palate shows beautiful apple, orchard fruit, and tasty crème brulee vanilla-caramel flavors. Long finish. Great aging potential. Amongst the finest domestic sparkling wines available!

Tiny bubbles and aromas of apples. The taste had lots of acidity and tastes of yeast and green apples. This is an excellent companion to food as always

50+5+12+17+6 Yeasty and slightly sweet, medium bodied. Acidity level perhaps a tad high when compared to the level of dosage. Drinking nicely now, or should age well for another 5+ years.

Lot of yeast and buttery flaky pastry but still also has a lot of baked apple. Less bubbles than newer vintages.
