Not really Tuscan sangiovese as I know it. Quite modern and easy going; the fruit does lack, for better or worse, the sour cherry herbal savoury character so often seen. There's a slightly weird burnt rubber and wood note, particularly on the nose, and it doesn't fully blow off. Still, very enjoyable and certainly grows on you. Won't live for ever, in the window now and no probs for a couple more.

Poured through vinturi. Somewhat nondescript, however very enjoyable. Dark fruit, a touch of spice and tobacco. Nicely integrated tannins. Well made and a good qpr for $15.

Dark garnet, clear complexion Muted notes of cherry liqueur, coffee beans and green tobacco. Medium to lean on the palate, plus acidity, astringent, simple cherry note on a short finish. Simplistic and not very compelling...

A bit closed maybe. The nose gave nothing away. Although enjoyable and easy to drink, this wine was a bit thin. Muted flavors of strawberry and cherry. Little or no finish.

Lots of oak on the nose, with some pretty sangio fruit; palate is ok, the oak doesn't serve it that well, but a decent crowd pleaser with slightly raisiny fruit.

Notes of cherry, strawberry, barnyard, scorched earth. Medium-full bodied with a silky finish. Give it some time to open. (Drink 2012-2015) - JD

Pretty standard toscana IGT, easy but a bit thin.
