I always like Mollydooker. Their wines have some kind of finesse that can't be found in any other Aussie wines. This bottle has been aged well, with right amount of oak, blackcurrant and truffle. A little bit on the sweet side.

This is too young to award 100p, but there's nothing holding it back. At 14 years of age, it still behaves like a newborn rascal…
Black-red colour. Aromas of dark-dark fruit, licorice, anise seeds, licorice and darkness. In the mouth the dichotomy of the superbly rich and dense body compared to the wine’s fabulous acids and elegant demeanor.
Wow!
This is indeed a copy of the blueprint of Grange Hermitage without the extreme extraction.
After double decanting, the level of the wine was still mid-neck.
Quite a specimen wine!

Massive! Deep purple; nearly black color. It provides a mouthful of cassis with black & blue berries, dark roast coffee, plus black pepper and Asian spices. It has some light vanilla notes with subtle oak and a 20 - 30 second finish. High alcohol but it's not too hot. Decanting was not necessary. I really wish I had more of this wine - it's so much fun!

Clear deep park red. Clean nose of black fruit and vanilla. Dry, med+ body, med acidity, soft tannins, big jammy wine even at 7 years, med+ finish. This is a big wine. Had this with chicken, but would have paired better with BBQ or a steak. This might not be a wine for everyone. It is an example of a big Aussie wine, but it still has lot going on and is very nicely made wine.

This was a complete disaster. I have been burned in the past opening Molldooker wines without doing the "Dooker Shake". They tend to be muted and unpleasant. Tonight, I dutifully did the shake before pouring this wine for my wife and myself. Well, doing the shake put ten tons of residue into the wine which was equally unpleasant. I can tell that the wine itself is decent - if you are in the mood for this style (which I was tonight). I guess next time I'll do a long decant to let things settle before attempting to pour one of these. It should not be so hard to enjoy Mollydooker wines. Not rated.

A smooth, graceful wine - not a word I would usually give a Mollydooker. Not that this is not a powerful wine, it contains blackberry, candied cherry, and mocha flavors in abundance. The flavors meld and sail instead of pummel, however. Really enjoyable.

The wife says "bouncy, and fruity" and, amazingly, she wasn't talking about me. I thought that it was smooth and very fruity. The heat did not show. Pretty good.

Drank a little early, thus this was still a bit tannic. I expect that to resolve itself in a year or so. Other than that, dark deep creamy fruit yummy.

Young, brooding red that's muscular, but maintains a subtle display of character and tastes. Vivid red fruits are expressive and well detailed with raspberry, charred berry and currant. A blend that has yet to realize it's full potential, I think this Enchanted Path needs a year or so to get it's act together. A finish that is propelled by rich, milk chocolate, which is the highlight of the wine. Mollydooker 09 release dining event - Morton's South Coast.

Fruit bomb, but significantly less so than the other mollydookers I've had. It was beautiful opn the nose and well structured on the palate. I nice example of a med-full bodied shiraz with a lot of fruit but still in relative balance.

Wine Blogger's Conference 2010 - Opening Tasting (Wine Blogger's Conference, Walla Walla, Washington): The nose shows dark, heavy blackberries along with green stems and a bit of heat. Those last two elements made me nervous, as they seem to indicate off balance wine in my experience. However, this is well put together, which makes the green note on the nose more interesting. The texture is soft and the tannins are already well integrated into the wine. The blackberry flavors start full, and become even more powerful as a blueberry note evolves on the mid palate. Both fruit flavors linger for a long time as the tannins rise up. The heat makes an appearance and works to thin the heavy texture. While the wine is thick, structural elements work together to build a dry sensation on the finish which is surprising, and enjoyable. 90

Very deicios with focused and pleasant flavors, but over-oaked that took from the wine.

Very bold up front. Finish faded more quickly than I would have expected. Dark berry, earthy. Kind of a flavor explosion up front.

A step down from my favorite from mollydooker wine, velvet glove, so we enjoyed this jammy Shiraz with pizza!

Noon Eclipse Vertical and some excellent Mollydookers (Mersch offices, Giva't Coach): Exquisite and complex nose – a lot of ripe fruits, vanilla and smoky aromas. Full bodied, chewy, very tannic, excellent acidity and a long, long finish.
