In great shape with proper cellaring since release. Advanced, but not overtly oxidized. Rich, tropical, ripe. Minerality keeps it gelunded. Excellent with truffle gnocci, prosciutto flatbread, and fig jam & bleu cheese flatbread. Drink before 2023.

Delicious. Rich, without being overpowering. Probably would have been at peak a year ago. Fruit is wonderful, but don't need to hold any longer. Lush, but not tropic.

Nice straw color. Aromas of mango, pineapple, vanilla, lemon meringue and mineral. This is the nicest nose on a Williams Selyem Chardonnay in recent memory. Started off a little shut down because it was too cold but really blossomed once up to proper temperature. On the palate, this wasn't heavy handed at all with flavors pretty similar to what was on the nose. A beautiful chardonnay and reminded me why I love their chardonnays in the first place.

Perfect time to drink this wine. 6 years is long enough for WS chard to develop but not too long to get gloopy and stale. Medium bodied, medium oak, medium sweetness, high alcohol. Not popcorny or gigantic in flavor but nice and semi-traditional (besides the excessive alc, which you don't taste that much).

This was downgraded from previous note as tge wine has taken on a light caramel color and clearly had lost vibrancy and complexity. I have seen this in other white wins but am not really sure what the cause is.

14.9% alcohol. Full yellow color. Initially reticent nose and needed to come to nearly room temperature to release itself, and it's a pleasant nose of baked apple, pineapple, and oak. In the mouth, a zesty, lemony edge that is the hallmark of Williams Selyem Chardonnay to me. Vibrant, with full, rich fruit and a buttery finish. A nice wine but fully ready to drink. A-

A wonderfully harmonious blend of citrus, pineapple, butter and oak. This wine is a perfect example of what some bottle age can do for a high end chardonnay. Williams Selyem Chardonnays are not usually mentioned in the same breath as Kistler, Ramey, Peter Michel, etal., but certainly deserve to be so. This is, to mince no words, a great wine!

Golden straw color. Lush aromas of pineapple, tropical fruits, almond and honey. Almost creamy mouthfeel with tropical notes and nectar predominant; opulent, round finish. Only slightly oaked, allowing the full flavor of the grapes to come through. Delicious!

Nose of lychee, pineapple. Nice complexity on the palate: roasted pineapple, candied lemon peel, vanilla, and a slight undertone of mace. Light tannins and good acidity on the finish. Really an amazing wine.

Most every time I drink W-S Chardonnay, I find the fruit a little strong and want to taste more mineral - a more Burgundian flavor. This was a very good bottle, but at this price I would like a little more structure over the fruit flavor and perfume.

I love older chardonnays, and this one is no exception. Flavors of ripe pear and pineapple with a long honey finish. Exceptional wine.

Yummy! Big honey and baked apple. Hints of butter with great acidity. Has developed into an outstanding wine with food.

A great Chardonnay. It was big, great fruit, acidic and not too oaky. This wine is drinking great after proper storage.

Very rich, with tropical and citrus flavors. Oak is a little overdone, or I'd give a higher score.
