Wow, this is a shining star. So beautiful and healthy to look at. Its gleaming with polish and luster in a mid weight, and shows the vibrance and persistence that is about to follow. Lots of tight fresh red fruit, with a well portioned dab of heavy oak that gives the fruit all the wood it can carry on its shoulders. Really deliciously judged oak treatment that would have probably been a little heavier feeling in youth, but has now been mostly melted into the wine. Laser like, precise, crisp, jubilant, and very lengthy with perfectly balanced acidity and good grip that tells me, you can hold this for another 5 years and sleep tight. The finish is very clean and fresh, and begs for another sip. Drink or Hold

2hr decant. Red fruit dominant with hints of chocolate, raspberry, raspberry liqueur, tannins and oak resolved. Dark and viscous lovely floral nose. Such a good wine.

Really good stuff. Red and black fruit on a beautiful nose. Mint, toasty oak, acidic red and black fruit on the palate with silky tannins that were nicely integrated. Some graphite and scorched earth notes also. A real eye popper after the 2009 Corra, which held its own but not nearly enough tonight.

Poured thick and chalky, deep purple red, almost brownish-black. Decanted 2.5 hrs. Heavy oak presence with tannins integrated on a delicious palate of blackberry syrup and hints of plum with touches of blueberry. Medium to long finish. After 60 min started to close off and tannins came out.

This wine is getting way better with age. Nose: dark fruit and jammy. Very smooth nose. I would be happy to just smell this wine all night. Taste; long finish of black berry, black cherry, anise and tobacco. Awfully good!

On open magical nose, decanted 2 hrs. Nose was heavy on the cedar box. Initial palate was hint of oak, currants, acidic berry fruit, with blood, iron metallic hints. After 90 min, less cedar, but palate was black fruit liqueur and some red cherries, almost early 2000s Merus like. What a great journey, somewhat different than bottle 1.

Wow, wow, wow! Impressive stuff. 45 min decant. Nose was somewhat restrained at first but gave way to a most impressive palate of dark red and black fruit without noticeable acidity, perfect integration of tannins with perfect amount of residual oak. No drop off with 90 min consumption.

W Giao. Darn impressive stuff. Got that minerality, rich fruit, deep double swallow of palate filling pie filler. tannins are nice, little oak on display, balanced, long. Drinking fine as I opened it to air 12 hours then consumers a 1.5 over 3. Actually started to fade I thought? Does seem it would gain the weight and secondary favors over time. Pricey though but a nice example of n napa fruit and mineral forward juice.
