Winos' excellent adventure in France; 6/22/2017-6/27/2017 (All over France): Very rich nose displaying ripe yellow fruit, oyster shell, wet stone and a hint of oak via sesame. Medium concentration, showing good maturity, rich and warm, bright acidity, strong mineral presence and a medium to long sweet yellow fruit and mineral driven finish. It is getting close to the first stage of maturity. Really nice showing.

La Paulée de New York 2011: Sweet Jesus. WOW. Applesauce. Sort of sweet, but regal. Will never forget this wine, perhaps the greatest white of the Paulée for me.

Domaine Faiveley Visit, Tasting 2008s (Nuits St.-Georges): Perfumed, alluring start with oak hints. Powerful fruit supported by great minerality and acidity. Clean, dense finish. 95 point potential for me today. My favorite wine tasted today at the Domaine.

Musique & Vin Festival BYO Dinner with Musicians (1243 Bourgogne Society - Beaune): Late night, small glass, brief note. Ripe and rich, seemingly unctuous with excellent concentration. Enough structure to provide great balance and length. Very impressive now, still nicely fresh.

La Paulee de NY - Grand Tasting (2008 Vintage) (Metropolitan Pavilion, NYC): underwhelming apple profile. develops some clove on midpalate that carries into a med(+) finish. well integrated oak seems lighter than it is.

Wine & Spirits Top 100 Tasting- Brief Notes (San Francisco Design Center): Fresh wine, hint of lemons and lime. Nice and balanced. Not life changing, but good even though I don't like chardonnay.
