Golden colour. First pineapple, peach, after 6h in the one-third emptied chilled bottle adding slate, honey and a chord of other yellow fruits. Very yummy and easy going, quite sweet, yet with enough acid to provide elegance and poise. Fully mature and without further positive evolution to be expected. -2022

Cork broke at the restaurant but wine was intact. The color is that of Inca Kola. Sweeter than I would prefer but acid is also high which keeps it fresh and in balance. It was very pleasing with the spicy ceviche. Mouth coating richness with a ton of fruit still. Finish is lively and of mid-length. This should age well. I'll keep my last bottle for another few years to see how it further develops.

A bit sweeter than I expected but still enjoyable. Nothing a deeper chill can't fix. I wish there had been more acid. It's already looking deep golden in color. It's getting quite mature.

sweet spice nose, with apple and pear notes. Just a lovely wine once opened for about 1/2 hour. Spiced pear, apple pie and tremendous balancing acidity make this a premier wine. Of all of my wine friends, I am the only one who goes for Rieslings as well as big reds and heavy chards. It is a shame that more folks don't chose to experience these wines.

I am not much of a spatlese person. I tend to go for drier rieslings but this was delicious. Lively acidity. Great balance. Apricot and pear fruit notes. Nice mineral notes really shining on the long finish

My current wine of the year! Super rich and expressive with candied pineapple, petrol, apricot, peach slate and a real thick texture. Super long finish and complexity is off the charts. Very few wines under $50 are this impressive and a leading candidate for wine of the year. 95-97.

Still very primary with lots of baby fat; packed with ripe yellow fruits, peaches and apples drizzled with vanilla and floral notes. This is a powerhouse with immense richness, but the acidity here keeps everything in perfect balance, checking the sweetness and giving the fruit a sense of real freshness. Delicious right now, and I imagine this will age very, very well over time.

Crazy good. Intoxicating nose followed by sweet though slightly flat entry. What makes this so memorable is the balance and the persistence and length of the dry and stony finish.

Seeing the Leitz (Table & Vine): Phenomenal. My wine of the night. Good complexity, concentration, structure and persistance. This has it all. Ripe and tangy acidity. Very lively.

Mature reds and immature (mostly) whites; 9/5/2006-9/6/2006: Excellent fruit (tropical), solid but not dominant acids and a long, fruit finish. The mineral elements are buried under a lot of fruit and a little botrytis right now. This needs and can support lots of aging.

AP Nr 2 407 901 5 05, 7%, £15.00 A clean sweet nose with peaches and pears and an odd hint of white chocolate. Immediately shows some sweetness on the palate, and there's a botrytis feel to it. Very clean and full. Lovely balance with nice acidity. Very Good Indeed.

Aromas of slate, petrol and apricot on the nose. A really good acid structure and balance to the rich palate, seamless integration of components and a lingering finish. It should be very good with time to develop.

Peach, pear, tropical fruit, mango, bright fruit, nice floral, slight honey, well integrated sugar, lingering finish. Good acidity. Really enjoyable.

Great. A bit sweeter than I remember but good amount of acid and it killed the Prager bottle we had earlier.
