PNP. Cork perfect. Color dark garnet. Nose has dark cherry blueberry and a little VA and alcohol. Swishing shows dense acid and some tannin too. Lots of structure. Sipping shows intense dark fruit and a terse finish. Shows some progression - like age. Still pretty unevolved.

this has not really progressed in any noticeable way since the last time I tried it. deep color, rich profile and surprisingly full finish. perfect with a roasted chicken tonite

This bottle was more expressive than the previous one and changed into an easy drinking mix of fruits and savory component with good acidity on the finish. Good dinner companion. 87-88

This is still closed and structured gamay. HInt of the "bubble gum" nose (sort of floral) and good cherries and acidity with some tannins on the tight finish. Good dinner companion but not that great on its own. Might improve in the future, but I'm not sure. 86-87

Garnet colored wine with lovely bouquet of strawberry and bright cherry. The scents transfer reasonably well to the palate with nice acidity and a suprising amount of tannin for a beaujolais. Would easily drink well for another 3-5 years.

Strawberries, sour cherries, orange, pepper. A little bitter and tannic. Marginal Beaujolais.

Deep red in color. Berries on the nose. More berries (rasberry, strawberry) on the palate. This was an enjoyable wine.

This is one of the bigger Beaujolais I have had. I think this one could age for a couple of years. I would rebuy at $17.00

Another nice 2009 Beaujolais. This one was a little lighter and had less minerality than some of the other ones that I prefer. Maybe I'm spoiled! :-)
