I'm really loving this wine right now, see previous tasting notes. This time I got beautiful cherry/fruit. It was very well balanced for my taste. It doesn't need a ton of decanting (less than an hour), I doubt it will hold up for a few days open like many wines. I have no reservations drinking this up right now.

Solid bottle of wine. Nice sweet fruit, strawberries on the palate. Got this for $15 and at that price a great value for an introduction (albeit relatively low-quality) into Chateauneuf-du-Pape, from what I've heard. We'll buy more of this and drink it in place of lower quality cote-du-rhone.

I anticipated to experience the absolute thinnest most inspid wine, but I was oh so wrong. Unbelievable that in such a poor vintage, this producer put out something drinkable, let alone enjoyable. Mourvedre dominates on the nose with a meatiness and slight game, touch of herbs. The palate has a medium body and surprisingly nice texture. Semi-lush fruit, red cherry liqueur, dusty tannins, and roasted meats. As it opens, everything softens and the Grenache really shows. Some peppery spice, brighter berry fruits with nicer acidity, and those initial tannins shed. Solid 87 and an A++ for effort.

Nothing too spectacular. Berry notes are muted. Somewhat lacking in body and any sort of structure. Some spice and earth, but a dissapointing finish. Others haven't liked this wine as well. One must wonder why it still sells for more than $30 at some stores? Not a recommended buy.

Ordered @ the Yale Club, w/ dinner and friends. This wine is one of the best of the 2002 rhone harvest flood. It showed cherry fruit, currants, a touch of plum, spice, and some soft tannins on the finish. Surprisingly, it seemed a little closed to me. The fruit was good, but it did not show too much CDP characteristics (e.g., leather, earth). $50 on the menu was a decent buy, and good w/ food. I liked it w/ the Hudson foie gras particularly.

Lovely!
Nose: lots of cherry, very round
Colour: brick brown
Palette : no tannins, cherry, strawberries, a little soft wooden touch to it as well.

See previous notes, noticed a bit more acidity than previous tastings. Could have been the food we paired it with (pizza).

Pleasant. Medium bodied. Subtle spicy aromas and ashes/toast.

Not very good. Closed, with a watery finish and almost no Cdp character. Only paid $20 and this still wasn't worth it.
