Very surprised by this wine. Elegant and complex. Very tasty wine with a great nose and nice finish. Black fruit with some definitely creaminess also hints of black licorice coming through. Would love to try it again if I could find it.

Looking East, as the sun breaks over the range.... What a beautiful wine she is. bright and fragrant nose with tons of black red fruits a-poppin'. Blackcherry infused blackberries with black currant, pomegranate and cola. Balance was spot on, this lilty wine just showed a somewhat play fullness that nothing else on the night had (97 Oakville, 95 Reserve, 94 Reserve). Plushy creamy goodness, this ToKalon wine showed its terroir well. Long and smooth, this had some soy, Asian tea, lead pencil and more. Just an all around beautiful Cab with the Mondav family fingerprint. The man was a genius.

Very elegant and developed. Slightly brick red in color. Slight pine note in flavor but clearly Cabernet in its essence. Lovely but at its time limit.
