Read more about SeglaSégla is the second wine of Rauzan-Ségla, a "super second" Margaux producer. Of their 51 ha of vineyards, 61% is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% to Merlot, and 2% each to Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, with varying amounts of each going into the wine each year (a plurality of Cab, a good chunk of Merlot, and a bit of the other two is the common blend). The amount of Ségla produced each year varies, as the best wine goes into the Grand Vin, but in some years a plurality of the wine goes into Ségla -- in 1987, for example, there was no Rauzan-Ségla produced, as all the fruit was shunted to Ségla instead.
