3/28/2021 5:59:00 AM - Hade jag inte tyckt att hela fangrejen är lite problematisk så hade jag genast återgäldat och blivit fan tillbaka. :)

3/31/2012 10:51:00 AM - spring interrupted by hails in Stockholm. Local blogosphere wine aficionados and daily newspaper wine critics square off in battle over natural wines. Tonight we're grilling rainbow trout and enjoying a bottle of marcel deiss grasberg.

11/5/2011 12:21:00 PM - Autumn in the great northern home that is mine: Stockholm is deep into full bodied red wine territory.

7/9/2011 6:10:00 AM - summer in the city. Among other summer activities I have set myself a task: to hunt down the better new york state wineries. It is proving more difficult than I thought.

1/3/2011 11:59:00 AM - moved back to the motherland. Goodbye to buying 25 yr old barolo from chambers street wines, the free fantasmagorical tastings at sherry-lehman, the prices, supply and the madness of winerchuck and his tv show, seductive online order and home delivery direct from small scale producers. Goodbye also to picking up adequately aged 1er cru burgundy at Sotheby's on the cheap because of nicked and scuffed labels.... Hello Systembolaget! And winter wonderland...

9/19/2010 8:57:00 AM - Ramadan in Cairo, in August heat, made for a fun and interesting if rather dry summer vacation, hence the lack of new wine reviews. Felt rather healthy though....

7/1/2010 8:49:00 PM - June became Chablis month. Several 1er cru producers tried in Maligny, Fleys and Milly. Also had awesome grand cru tasting at Daniel's in NYC. Blew my mind. But Chablis is uneven and there are lots of mines to step on. For example the 2007 vintage...

7/1/2010 8:47:00 PM - Back from trip: lots of great wine tastings, several of which I have posted.

3/15/2010 10:35:00 AM - planning a trip to Champagne and Burgundy end of May this year: all suggestions on places to eat or stay very welcome!
