5/12/2014 11:35:00 AM - Grats! Petrus is fine, but over rated. Wine and Pees :-)

12/14/2013 9:36:00 AM - Well, well...small world. We had Bam_Man as a common friend. I didn't know you were on here and that was a funny way to find out! -Brian

12/13/2013 7:28:00 AM - Farinas, re: your Mondavi Reserve vs Bond question… I have never had the pleasure of sampling Bond, but have a feeling that it would be a favorite given the opportunity. I first came across Bond at an auction, and figured that I already have enough expensive habits, so I left it alone and never bought a bottle (same goes for Petrus, but I should try them both). Cheers!

10/19/2013 7:58:00 PM - I drank the 2010 Insignia side by side with it.....They are both very good, but the Insignia is a little better in my opinion. But for this vintage I would say they are closer than say 07' or 09'.

    9/21/2013 9:53:00 PM - Your TN's have a good amount of thought-through-ness. We like.

9/7/2013 7:15:00 AM - Please consider the Pappy Van Winkle 20 year old bourbon or Pappy Van Winkle 23 year old bourbon. they ar the top end and usually are available in October thru November for Christmas but sell out quickly.

8/14/2013 6:41:00 PM - Not a frater ( don't even know what it means). Right now I'm drinking Willet Pot Distilled Reserve. Pretty decent stuff. Petrus vertical, wow only in my dreams...

8/13/2013 11:40:00 PM - Remind me and I will post a tasting of 12 vintages od Chateau Petrus I attended. I have been lucky to be hosted by Christian Moueix twice at Petrus.

8/13/2013 11:35:00 PM - By chance are you a frater??

  • bestdamncab says:

8/13/2013 11:34:00 PM - The best is Bowmore Black-incredible Scotch.

8/2/2013 10:21:00 AM - Haven't had the luck to taste a Pappy. One of these days I shall...I'll also look up George Stagg. Thanks

  • bestdamncab says:

8/2/2013 6:21:00 AM - Have you tasted 23 year old Pappy Van Winkle? Lovely bourbon, that and George Stagg.

  • farinas says:

7/30/2013 7:40:00 AM - I've never been to those events, but privately I've always gotten together with a group of friends to taste and compare different whiskies and now starting to get into bourbons.

  • bestdamncab says:

7/29/2013 11:30:00 PM - I have been to Whiskies of the World three times and Whiskeyfest three times. How about you?
