Very solid cork. Tightly sealed. Some bricking as expected. Crunchy red fruits. Plenty of persistent fruit balanced by the acidity and tannic structure. Consumed over several hours after opening. This may improve for a few years as the tannins resolve. I think there is enough fruit here to support another few years of development. It is nevertheless very enjoyable now.

From magnum. Tasted prior to decanting. Silky texture with fully resolved tannins. Excellent balance and mouthfeel. Lovely black fruits. Decanted about 1 hour before serving with dinner and then followed for a couple additional hours. There was a moderate amount of sediment. A really pretty wine with lovely fruit and wonderful textures and balance. What was missing here was complexity -- there was little development of complex flavors. Still a very pretty and tasty wine.

From a 375 mL bottle. Perfect fill. Tight, unsaturated cork. Not a hint of brick in the color. Restrained dark fruit nose with cinnamon. Tannins are mostly resolved and the mouthfeel is quite silky. Palate follows the nose. This will certainly hold and likely evolve nicely with time but for me it's great right now. I like the fruit and overall balance. I'm sure 750 mL bottles will behave differently. A beautiful '09 Right Bank wine.
