Dark fruit with lots of savory, earthy, funky notes on the nose. Well balanced fruit and acidity. Medium-full body. Well integrated tannins have just a bit of chew. Medium-low oak. Very nice complexity with lots of savory components. Medium-long finish. Excellent overall. Great QPR. Drinking beautifully right now and I wouldn't expect it to get any better.

Grapefruit, lemon, mineral, a little honeydew, and a touch of oak on the nose. Very nice balance of fruit and acidity. Medium-full body. Just a hint of tannin. Medium-low oak with just a touch of butteriness. Medium complexity. Excellent overall. Great QPR.

Tasting notes after open for 2 1/2 hrs. Blackberry, sour cherry, white pepper, and some savory meaty notes on the nose. Fairly big fruit but plenty of acid to balance. Full body but not big extraction. Well integrated tannins with just a little bit of chew. Medium-low oak. Nice complexity with a little smokiness and hard to identify savory components. Medium-long finish. Can't imagine it evolving into anything better than it is today. Outstanding overall. Very good QPR.
