Colour clear translucent burgundy red with ripe reflexes at the edge. Nose wonderful, complex, elegant and full, violets, balsamic, red fruits such as cherries, red currant, hints of camphor, some coco, peper, the more air it gets the more prominent the violets. As soon as the wine touches your palate there is an amazing development of aromas going on. First you are hit by soft freshness, followed by subtle wooden tones, red fruits, balsamic aromas, all embedded in a beautiful acid backbone. The development exceeds in a finish of cherries, coco and a hint of green banana and violets. The wine is really satisfying the wishes of a wine lover - Chapeau!

Nice Pinot but it is not comparable with great Burgundy wines. Even much cheaper 1er Crus have more depth, completely overpriced. Reminds me a bit of Austrian pinots such as Heinrich or Schloss Halbthurn or German Pinots although to be fair a bit more elegant. 90 points on the first day. After 24 hours I had to revise my statement from yesterday. The wine is excellent and finally completely opened up. I have to revise up to 96 on the second day. Very elegant, extreme intensive nose with cedar, dark fruits, complex. On the palate similarly elegant, smooth with a long finish. A big surprise on the second day.

Nose unripe plums, cedar, chocolate, fresh fruity acidity, almond, marcipan, rasberries, on the palate elegant, fine, a bit juicy, condensed nose aromas, in the finish long plums, harmonic, fantastic.
