Perfect cellar storage on this one. First whiffs offered dirty diaper notes and mature earth/leather. Not much sediment, if any... the sign of a filtered wine I suppose. Fruit has dried up quite a bit. Still very enjoyable, but don't wait.

A much leaner style than I’m used to, but a very solid and enjoyable food wine. If you’re looking for big n’ juicy this ain’t it. Great value at $11 but nothing at all like the reviews I saw online (???) ~ Here's what the reviewers had to say:
91 points Outer quote mark Deep violet. Powerful, spice-accented black and blue fruit and floral aromas are sharpened by a smoky mineral flourish and a hint of cracked pepper. Palate-coating black raspberry, boysenberry and candied violet flavors show sharp detail and solid back-end punch. Finishes chewy, sweet and quite long, with mounting tannins and a late touch of licorice. (JR) Inner quote mark (8/2021)
91 points Outer quote mark From the Les Thorins sector of Moulin-à-Vent, this wine is dense, with some solid tannins. Rich, juicy and generously structured, it has jammy red fruits, acidity and a dense core that will soften. *Editors' Choice* (RV) Inner quote mark (3/2021)
