From magnum, good long-term cellaring, fairly solid cork, great color! Very little to no bricking at the edges... Mature Cab on the nose, with leather, dark fruits, and some mild spice. Solid on the palate, a whiff of VA, very enjoyable bottle, consumed over a couple hours. I would not wait any longer on this wine.

Popped and poured. A pencil box/leathery/earthy nose, with some bandaid as well. On the palate--smooth and silky. Not a lot of fruit--but it's there. There's a fair amount of the bandaid kind of funk, which I love. Not exiting, I guess, but really enjoyable.
An auction purchase. This wine is everything a Napa cab should be, in my book--balanced, slightly austere, pretty fruit and a silky mouthfeel. Not a hedonists wine, but would be wonderful with a Christmas roast or something.

Very Tanic, softened slightly over an hour. Recommend laying down for another 5 years
