Brilliant SA old vine dryland grenache. Silken integrated layered and still very fresh. Burgundian complexity. Strawberry raspberry and cranberry freshness Layered with dry earthy smoke and leather White pepper, fynbos sous bois savory Bright acidity Minerality of slate and iron on a long dry finish. Sublime Has the structure and vontage provenamce to continue to drink like this for many more years.

The palate echos the nose with clean cool acidity on the front palate that steps aside for honeyed peach, apricot, baked yellow apple with ginger and cinnamon spice. The honeyed notes are more pronounced as the wine warms and finishes with a touch of walnut and thyme.
Will continue to drink well for many more years.

Very fresh in day 1 with layers of citrus and peach blossom on the nose. Some tertiary marmalade and terpene showing. The palate starts off very retrained but opens up to a richly textured structure of summer fruits, saline and chalky acidity and a tertiary pithe like mouthfeel.
Day 2 brings added tertiary complexity, more marmalade, wet stone minerality and sweet and sour peach and line drops.
Sublime now and with years of great drinking ahead.

Stunning 11 year old skin contact SA Chenin.
Terrific floral fresh peach, spiced baked apple, honey and elderflower nose.
