Wow one of my best 16 CdP up to now. I personally found it better than Clos des Papes, Beaucastel, vx telelgraphe and Sabon Prestige for an early drinking. Full body, rich but absolutely elegant and fresh it already shows some kirsch but with a big red fruit, garrigue and perfectly balanced acidity. Persistent finish. If you wanna taste an excellent young CdP try this without delay! And if you consider the price (paid 36 swiss franc) this is a great qpr in this vintage!
Delicious! At this time way more interesting than 15 Leoville Barton drunk some weeks ago. Strong spicy body with layers of mixed black and red fruits. Not too much on the cassis side. The acidity level is perfect. The tannins are rather smooth for a young 2nd growth and the final is long and fresh. Everything you could expect from a top st-julien in best vintages! Very promising.

It begins with a strong spicy bite with absolutely balanced acidity. The mid palate has beautiful minerality with evident signs of wood. It seems a bit diluted and the fruit is a step behind. I m suspecting it is closing down. It doesnt make really sense to taste it at the moment and as long as it doesnt have gain some weight. Really not a great experience if compared with some other merlot dominated '15 Bordeaux.
